In a very deep Pacific South conference where currently only 1 team is under .500, this is a divisional game with playoff implication written all over it. Both San Diego and Washington have been steady this season posting strong starts, now at the halfway point both teams look to make a final push for a high seed come playoff team. The Chargers, led by LT, are going to face a tough task against a Washington secondary that is loaded with talent and guarded by a very fierce front 7 that could prove troublesome for the Chargers. Philip Rivers may have to step up and try to use Gates, LT, and his lackluster WR corps to try to keep Washington honest on defense. On the flip side of the coin, the Redskins will also focus on their all-pro RB Clinton Portis. Portis, like LT, may have a hard time finding running room against a stiff Chargers front 7. If Portis is bottled up, Jason Campbell can look to Cooley, Randel-El, and Moss all of who have great hands, speed, and big play capability. This should prove to be a great game!
