The Texans (Wolf)

Despite popular belief, the Texans do have some weapons in their arsenal on offense. The Texans running game is very good, Domanick (Davis) Williams has speed, so he can get to the outside on sweeps and pitches and he can bust open a hole through the middle in the power run game. QB David Carr has something that’s rare in the NFL; he has a receiver who demands the attention of an entire side of the field in Andre Johnson. Andre has the ability to go over the middle and make the big first down catch or burn the CB and catch the deep ball 60 yards down field. Either way the Seahawks will have their hands full in stopping both the run and pass game of the Texans and Coach Wolf.

Hard to find too much good to say about this defense other than they’re young. The Texans rely on very young players to fill very large roles. Dunta Robinson will be eye-to-eye with either of the star receivers for Seattle in Jackson or Branch. Dunta is gonna have to handle that responsibility by himself, so that the safeties can help out on the opposite receiver and the huge TE Jerramy Stevens. Second year guy Demeco Ryans is the star of the front seven and he will be shadowing Cover Boy Shaun Alexander, who really can do everything so Demeco will have to be all over the field, sideline to sideline making sure that Alexander doesn’t break loose.

The Seahawks(Lil J)

The Seahawks are working with a stacked offense, and coach Lil J knows how to pick defenses apart. Hes gonna use Darrell Jackson and Deion Branch to set the pace for the Seahawks potent passing game. Matt Hasselbeck can really thread the needle and these 2 wideouts will find enough space and get open for him. Another one of the Seahawks key weapons will be TE Jerramy Stevens the 6'8". He is very hard to defend especially if Hasselbeck can keep his passes up. Last but certainly not least Shaun Alexander, the cover boy combines all the key talents you want from your RB, hes got speed to run outside, power to bust holes up inside, and hes got hands like a receiver. This very talented offense is gonna give the Texans fits.

The Seahawks defense has as many weapons as their offense. Their D line is led by Grant Wistrom who is a balanced DE who can stop the run game along with putting excellent pressure on the QB. The Linebackers are among the quickest in the League, Tatupu locks down the middle of the field and will be the key to stopping Domanick Davis from getting loose. Julian Peterson strikes fear into the heart of many opposing Qb's he can rush the QB with great success or he can drop back in coverage and run stride for stride with any tight end, and even some wideouts. The secondary is led by corner Marcus Trufant who is a lock down coverage cornerback. He should be faced up with the deadly WR Andre Johnson.

Dunta Robinson versus Darrell Jackson

This is gonna be a fun matchup to watch Jackson who has great speed and can beat you anywhere on the field. Meanwhile Dunta Robinson has proven himself to be one of the best DBs in the NFL. They will be faceing off all day and I think because of all the other outstanding offensive players Dunta will be covering Darrell most of the game 1-on-1. Darrell will have 5 catches for 90 yards and 2 Tds, helping the Seahawks win the game.

Outcome: The Seahawks offense will create too many bad matchups and be forced to play catch up all game. This will be a high scoring game so bet the over. Both teams will go back and forth scoring on each other but in the end the Seahawks and Lil J come up big and get the W.

Seahawks win this one 37-31.
